About Us

We are a group of stoners who have an absolute craving for building tech startups. As longtime members of the glass community, we have been toying with this idea for a year or two now. We feel as though both us and the market are in the right place for PieceX. Our beta is finished and will be launching in late July/Early August.

There are two main issues in the community we are looking to solve with PieceX:

1. Inconsistency of pricing We provide a true market price of each piece listed on piecex. The market price is a combination of two factors; Data pulled from APIs and aggregating Bid/Ask matches.This allows us to protect a. New buyers who may be getting overcharged on Facebook groups, and b. Add the aspect of investing that the glass market has never had; price history and popularity. 

2. Scamming/Poor cleaning and shipping practices One of the main things we set out to do with piecex was eliminate scamming. The community has its moments, but there is an unbelievable amount of scamming going on which ultimately turns people away from glass. All pieces are first shipped to us, where we perform multiple deep cleans before photographing and listing the piece. Once a successful bid order is matched to an asking price, we ship the piece to the buyer and payout the seller. This eliminates 100% of scams and poor cleaning and shipping practices.
